GK herbals was established in 2022. The majority of products under the GK Herbals brand name has been formulated by myself, Herbalist, Traditional Doctor Dewald Steyn, and comprises mostly of Herbal Teas, Essential- and other oil blends, tinctures, and some personally produced products. The formulations are focused on helping the body in its innate healing capability by means of giving organ systems, right down to cellular level, the required phytochemicals to assist the body in every way possible during the healing journey.
 
The logo is representative of multi-racial Ethnomedice. This simply means medicine that has been used through the ages by those who came before us and who we honour for our human experience today. Whether it be common to Western, Chinese, Ayurvedic or African healing systems or modalities, I incorporate them all in my work in some way or the other through resonance.
 
All living things have a soul component from the Creator and as a Herbalist, someone who is close to nature and to God, I cannot disregard the spiritual components of plants that have been mandated by our Creator and therefore there are some herbal mixes too, to clear and clean the etheric and energetic parts of a person.

My intention is to create a community of eager to learn, likeminded individuals, through membership, whereby I can share knowledge to assist the movement to return to natural medicine and help people heal.
